These Dogs Explored The Entire World Without Moving An Inch From Home
These past few years have made traveling difficult, expensive, and more restrictive than ever. Hence, it is no surprise that some people got creative to find their way around regulations.
Melissa, a photographer and dog lover from the United States, used the magic of Photoshop to create some masterpieces with a beautiful cause behind them: to break stereotypes about Pitbulls and promote their gentle nature.
Bella Goes To Australia
Bella Blue was seen in the Land Down Under, in front of one of its most recognizable and amazing views. Uluru, or Site Ayers Rock, is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is a sandstone rock formation that is taller than the Eiffel Tower!
Because of its popularity, it is usually packed with tourists from all around the globe, but fortunately, Bella got her picture taken without interruptions. So lucky!
Hershey Enjoys Alaska
Next up, is Hershey seen here licking snowflakes in Alaska! The playful pup seems to be enjoying the ice. In the background, it’s possible to see the northern lights, a phenomenon that occurs in the northern part of the world between the months of August and April.
In reality, Pitbulls aren’t very resistant to the cold, and if anyone wants to take their pup to a colder environment, they should make sure to pack a good jacket for them.
Pesto Explores The North Pole
Pesto made it where no Pitbull has made it before! The north pole, the tip of the earth! Luckily for him, he seems to have brought his favorite blanket with him.
Pitbulls get a bad reputation for their past in dog fighting, so there has been a big movement trying to revoke the controversy around them. It’s been successful in some places, and the awareness campaigns have proved very beneficial. Look at little Pesto. He wouldn’t hurt a fly!
The Pups Go To Mount Rushmore
It seems like the puppies decided to travel around their own country and headed to South Dakota. They clearly wanted to reproduce the sculpture, showing off their funny tongue-sticking skills.
Mount Rushmore is a sculpture carved into The Black Hills. It portrays 4 U.S. Presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln. The site is one of the most popular tourist attractions in the United States, and for a good reason; look at how majestic the sculptures are!
Bella With The Roos
Those kangaroos, that orange-red hue, and Bella’s silhouette are the definition of our happy place. This romantic sunset picture would look fantastic printed in large format, and we’re sure Bella would approve.
Australia is known for being home to many wonderful animals, from kangaroos to wombats to dingos and, of course, koalas. The diverse wildlife is one of the main tourist attractions of the country because wherever animals thrive, a beautiful landscape is to follow.
Hershey Visits The Louvre
The Louvre is the biggest museum in the world and home of some of the most famous paintings in history. This museum is in the heart of Paris, and it attracts over 2 million visitors a year, and of course, one of them was Hershey the Pitbull.
Hershey seems to be an art lover himself, probably because he has perfected the art of posing for portraits. Just look at that poise. He’s definitely a natural!
Hershey Relaxes At Kruger National Park
After his serious modeling in the hustle and bustle of Paris, Hershey decided to take it easy and enjoy the natural scenarios of an African safari.
Kruger National Park is a famous natural reserve in South Africa that is home to hundreds of species of animals and plants. Here they can live in a free-range environment while feeling protected from hunters. Amongst the most notorious inhabitants are zebras, lions, elephants, and rhinos!
Nova Layne Floats Around Venice
In this picture, Nova Layne, the elegant Pitbull, goes on a romantic gondola ride down one of Venice’s famous canals. What attractions will Nova Layne visit while in the City of Bridges?
With 118 islands and countless pasta restaurants, Venice is definitely a food lover’s dream. Nova seems to be having a good time in Italy and will probably have some of the most amazing meals, will he share with his doggy siblings?
Pesto Sunbathes In Joshua Tree
Around the other side of the globe, Pesto seemed to be having some fun in the sun! In the beautiful desert region of Joshua Tree, there are some fantastic sights to take in. The only downside is the high temperatures.
Luckily for Pesto, he made sure to keep hydrated by bringing his own portable shower, very handy when you’re in the middle of the desert. While Pesto camped overnight, he surely met his distant cousins, the coyotes!
Hershey In Paris
Hershey just can’t get enough in the city of love and went back to find more of its architectural masterpieces. No trip to Paris is complete without a picture in front of the Eiffel Tower, and this puppy knows it.
The Eiffel Tower is one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites and attracts millions of people from around the globe annually. There are two ways of ascending the tower, by stairs or taking a lift. We hope Hershey chose the latter!
Pesto Swims In The Dead Sea
Pitbulls aren’t naturally good swimmers, but they sure love water! For Pesto here, he might be in luck because the Dead Sea’s salt levels are so high most things float in it, making it easy for him to swim through the clear waters.
The Dead Sea isn’t actually a sea but rather a lake, but it’s called a sea because of its high salinity. It is on the border between Jordan and Israel, making it a wonderful place to visit.
Hershey Gets Photobombed
Hershey was so in awe of the architectural delight of the Eiffel Tower that he decided to visit again for a sunset stroll. Unfortunately, his picture didn’t go as planned, he was interrupted by some rude pigeons.
Not only that but he was so startled by the flying beasts that he ended up closing his eyes when the snap was taken. This might be just a small misstep in his modeling career, which we’re sure will be fruitful again soon.
Nova Explores More Of Italy
You know what they say, “When in Rome” and Nova knew exactly what to do, take a picture in front of the Colosseum, of course! The magnificent structure was home to the bravest warriors and spectacles of its time.
Nowadays, the Colosseum is a museum and attraction that lures thousands of visitors every year. It was named one of the New 7 Wonders of the World, and we’re sure Nova can tell us why.
Bella In Pisa
Although the beautiful city of Pisa is known for its iconic tower there is much more to explore than the tower. Located in Tuscany, Pisa is home to a beautiful cathedral, Piazza del Duomo, and many other architectural wonders.
Bella is more interested in exploring the culinary delights the city has to offer. She seems to have only eyes for a slice of pizza that is dangling before her. We would honestly do the same!
Hershey Takes A Trek To Fuji
After so much traveling, Hershey decided to take a relaxed hike to the Japanese volcano Mount Fuji. What a view! The scenery looks straight from a painting, and Hershey looks like he’s blending right in.
Mount Fuji is known for its distinct shape, which has been the subject of many paintings and photographs. The peak is almost as photogenic as Hershey, and that’s probably why he chose this scene to capture the moment.
Nova Climbs The Everest
Nova went where no other Pitbull has before, and we’re here for it! The pitbull seems to have blended in quite nicely amongst the snow of Mount Everest. The tallest peak in the world!
The spirit of adventure is strong in this puppy, and he sure seems to have had a great time with his fellow explorers. In the picture, he seems to be howling in excitement for the thrill of being at the top of the mountain.
Pesto Watches The Sunset In Maui
This is an excellent picture of Pesto. The adorable puppy has glittering eyes, probably because of the breathtaking view from the top of the Haleakala volcano.
The Haleakala National Park is home to a dormant volcano and many animal species, including the endangered Hawaiian goose. It’s a place where the views make you feel like you’re on another planet. Haleakala means “House of the Sun” in Hawaiian, and with this picture, we can see why.
Bella Makes Friends In Egypt
While the rest of the gang was busy taking pictures in beautiful cities and climbing the tallest peaks, Bella was making interesting friends in Egypt. The perfect snap of Bella looking up at her new camel friend is such a cute memento!
The pyramids of Giza are the Oldest of the Seven Wonders Of The Ancient World and are certainly among the most fascinating structures we can find on the planet.
Pesto’s High-End Bora Bora Stay
Pesto decided to take a holiday from his worldwide holiday and went for the most luxurious stay in Bora Bora, the iconic stilt bungalows. With those shades and poise, he clearly knows how to look as glamorous as the location.
Bora Bora is a beautiful little island in the South Pacific. Because a coral reef surrounds it, it is a favorite destination for scuba divers and affluent guests. Pesto is such a lucky boy!
Bella in the Grand Canyon
Bella decided to take some time in the sun and went to visit the majestic Grand Canyon. Although it seems like she’s standing on a risky cliff, we trust the adventurer pup is more than careful when doing such feats.
The Grand Canyon is the most visited National Park in the United States. For a fair reason, the incredible scenery is breathtaking, so for those seeking good views like Bella, this is a must-see destination.
Bella Unwinds In Aruban Beaches
It seems like Bella can’t have enough sunshine in her life! Here we can see her rolling in the white sands of Aruba, a small island in the Caribbean that is known for its turquoise beaches.
Shallow water is most Pitbull’s favorite playground. These dogs love splashing around, even though they’re not great swimmers because of the muscular nature of their bodies. We can see that Bella loves the splashing waves.
Nova Explores Athens
Nova wasn’t feeling as adventurous as her siblings in their mountain quests and beach escapades. Instead, she was interested in delving into the historical importance of Classical Greece.
So she took a flight to Athens and explored the wonderful ruins of the Acropolis.
The citadel is situated on a hill in the city of Athens and is home to the Parthenon and other beautiful sites. Known as the “cradle of western civilization,” this place is full of history.
Nova Continues Her Historical Tour
As a fan of historical sites, Nova couldn’t miss out on visiting the Brandenburg Gate in Germany. This site has been witness to many important moments in world history, so naturally, it would be on this history-geek-puppy’s list.
The gates were built in the 18th century by king Fredrick William II. The gate became a symbol of the division between east and west during the Cold War and, eventually, the country’s reunification.
Hershey Loves Paris
Hershey seems to enjoy exploring the wonders of Paris and has taken pictures in front of the most emblematic buildings the city has to offer. Fortunately, he was able to get there early enough to avoid the traffic this area is known for.
The Arc De Triomphe is one of Paris’ must-visit sites. It was built to commemorate the French Revolution. Hershey seems to be aware of the historical context and is sitting elegantly in front of the monument.
Pesto’s Layover In Hawaii
Before leaving the wonders of the Pacific Ocean, Pesto decided to take a layover in Hawaii and visit a historical site. Pearl Harbor National Memorial is located in Honolulu, where one of the most decisive moments in U.S. history took place.
Pesto surely was moved by the retelling of the accounts and explored the sites of an impressive event during his visit. This puppy is learning new things every day!
Bella Gets Some Fresh Air
On the other side of the world, Bella was taking a relaxing stroll through the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland. The sheer beauty of this place makes anyone instantly happy.
These cliffs are famous in film and TV, as they’ve been the backdrop for many movies and documentaries. This famous walk is one of the main tourist destinations in Ireland, and it comes as no surprise just by admiring this picture!
Nova In Machu Picchu
We’re starting to get the feeling that Nova is collecting UNESCO World Heritage sites because of the places he chooses to visit. Machu Picchu is a wonder to behold. The Incan city lies on the top of a mystical mountain.
Because it is such a popular destination, the Peruvian government has had to take serious measures to prevent erosion and destruction of the city. The number of tourists visiting is around 2,500 a day!
Bella Takes New York By Storm!
Nothing can stop the intrepid Bella from reaching her destination, not even a little bit of rain! Here the adventurous pup is posing in one of the most recognizable cities in the world, New York City!
The capital of skyscrapers, yellow taxis, baseball, and crowds, this city has got it all. Times Square might be at the center of it all and is a popular destination for those looking for the legendary billboards surrounding it.
Pesto’s Seattle Selfie
Pestos’ camera went off at the wrong time, and he took a selfie! Luckily he was in one of Seattle’s most recognizable places, the space needle! The observatory is 605 ft tall and offers one of the best views a city could ever offer.
The needle also has a high-end restaurant which Pesto would certainly enjoy, but he might be too afraid of heights because he opted for admiring the monument from below, which is very understandable!
Bella Strolls Around London
Bella was caught smiling at the camera during a clear-skyed afternoon in London. The pup was visiting the English capital and taking in the beautiful city. Here, she’s in front of Big Ben, one of the most recognizable sites in the city.
London has a lot to offer its visitors, from historical buildings to great restaurants and concert venues, no matter what you’re looking for, London has got it. We wonder where the adventurous dog will go next.
Bella Goes To The Tower Of London
It happens that Bella was so enamored with the city of London that she had to take lots of pictures. Here she is showing off the new sunglasses she bought at a gift shop in front of the Tower of London.
Known as one of the safest fortresses because inside of it are kept the priceless Crown Jewels of England. The tower has secured the royal palace since 1078. It’s one of the most famous locations in the city.
Pesto Delves Into The Netherlands
Pesto loves traveling, and his bucket list couldn’t be complete without a trip to The Netherlands. Admiring the classic Dutch windmills and breathing in the wondrous crisp nature is worth every second.
The Netherlands has around one thousand windmills scattered throughout the country, many of which are still used today for water and grain. Visiting these traditional mills is a wonder to behold, and we’re sure Pesto is enjoying his trip.
Bella Takes A Break
After so much sightseeing, Bella deserved a break! Lifting her aching paws after many miles of walking and queuing. She went for a room with a beautiful view of the castle because this puppy knows how to enjoy herself.
The room has a good view of the Tower of London, which she visited earlier. We wonder if she can see the River Thames from her window. Bella sure loves this city!
Pesto Takes Over Barcelona
Pesto snatched Bella’s heart-shaped sunglasses for his trip to Barcelona. He probably knew he would take many pictures in the photogenic city. Here is taking a break at the Park Guell. The design is the work of the famous architect Antoni Gaudi, who created multicolored animals and terraces throughout the vegetation-filled compound.
In the background, it’s possible to appreciate different important sites in the city, including The Gracia district, the Tibidabo, and of course, the still-incomplete Sagrada Familia Church.
Pesto Dips Into Cathedral Cove
This puppy loves his remote destinations, and because our planet is full of wonders to behold, he isn’t afraid of exploring them all. There are some places in this world that are breathtaking, and Cathedral Cove is one of them.
Located on the northwestern coast of New Zealand, this beach features a rock formation that resembles a cathedral entrance. Its original name is Te Whanganui-A-Hei, which means in Maori “The Great Bay of Hei.”
Bella In Table Mountain
Also in the southern hemisphere of the world is Bella, taking a deep look at Table Mountain. Located in the heart of South Africa, Table Mountain overlooks Cape Town, one of the most important cities in the country.
At 1,086 meters high, it’s quite the hike, but it’s possible taking a cableway for only 17 dollars and zero physical effort. With that lovely flower headpiece, we hope Bella considers the ride instead of the hike.
Bella Reflects In India
After so many adventures, Bella needed some time to slow down and reflect on her travels, but she decided to do so in a beautiful monument: The Gateway of India. She sure looks pensive in this photo after a rainy day in the Indian city of Bombay.
However, the rich history of this building is also a reason she was attracted to this place; it was built in 1913 to commemorate King George V and Queen Mary.
Nova Sails In Lake Braies
It is no secret that Nova loves boat rides. After the gondolas in Venice, she simply had to go back to Italy to experience the beauty of the “Pearl of the Alps.” And she was not disappointed!
This spectacular lake is located in South Tyrol, where turquoise waters enhance the crystal clear reflection of the Alps. Although the water might be too cold to swim in, Nova will likely stay on the boat.
Nova Eats In Italy
Nova couldn’t be happier to end her journey by eating the most instantly recognizable dish in the world: Pizza! There’s nothing like Italian pizza, the food is a staple of the country’s cuisine, and its good reputation is recognized by old and young everywhere.
We hope this pizza place is dog friendly, though! Because it would be a shame for Nova to get a stomach ache during her holidays. Buon Appetito!
The Whole Gang!
The whole gang: Pesto, Bella Blue, Hershey, and Nova Layne were caught in this hilarious picture on a roller coaster. Their faces sure do portray the commotion of getting on amusement park rides. Look at those grinning faces!
These fun pictures we just enjoyed were made for an excellent cause: the Bella Reed Pitbull Rescue, to show that Pitbulls are actually harmless and caring dogs that deserve as many rights and love as any other.
